This introductory programming course is designed for students with no prior knowledge in computer programming. It introduces the fundamental concepts and techniques of developing programs for problem solving. Object-oriented programming methodology is used throughout the course to teach the fundamentals of programming. Students learn how to design, implement, compile, debug, and execute programs. It establishes the foundation on which students are able to develop application programs in different high-level programming languages such as Python and Java.
